TICC has learned from multiple sources that the New York Cosmos will reportedly continue their preseason tour in the island nation of Bermuda. The opponent, however, remains uncertain.
After wrapping up a three-game tour in the Dominican Republic with three wins, the Cosmos will return to a location of surf and sun. With a national team currently ranked 187th according to FIFA, the island offers ten teams in their first division and the question is raised on whether the club will play the national team, Premier Division clubs or a mixture of both, similar to the Dominican Republic tour.

Director of Operations Jack Gaeta shared a photo of his scouting trip to an undisclosed location for the second leg of the club’s preseason tour on Tuesday night. While not definitively the island, it would strongly suggest that Bermuda is next for the boys in green.
This is not the first time the reboot Cosmos have been linked to a trip there. In 2013, Bermudian and former Cosmos player Randy Horton shared that the Cosmos were looking at a possible preseason trip there, while Seamus O’Brien was still chairman and shortly after the Cosmos claimed their 2013 NASL title.
