A report from 90minu.pl indicates that Hunter Gorske has signed a two and a half year contract with MKS Miedź Legnica after passing a medical.
Gorskie trained with the second-division Polish side last January before heading to Malaga CF for additional training with Sebastian Guenzatti. According to details on the page, Gorskie played a pair of preseason matches against Jagiellonia Bialystok and FK Jablonec while there.
As a dual-national and the holder of a European passport, Gorskie wanted to see what his fortunes could be on the other side of the Atlantic and the Cosmos supported his endeavor.
“He [Hunter Gorskie] felt now that he wants to explore what his passport can give him in Europe, but is not closing the door with us,” said Cosmos Head Coach Giovanni Savarese.
Here, at Cosmos Country, we wish Hunter well. A member of the team since 2013, we will never forget the derby-winning penalty against NYCFC this year.
Good luck, Hunter.
