With three candidates to host the semifinal (New York Cosmos, FC Edmonton and Miami FC) the date and time is not set in stone until there is a clear winner, but tentative schedules have been set.
Should the Cosmos hold onto their lead, they are set to host the match at Shuart Stadium on Saturday, November 5th at 7pm.
If FC Edmonton can pull ahead, a Sunday semifinal is in the works as they would host the match at Clark Stadium on November 6th at a time to be determined.
If currently third place Miami FC comes out on top, a Saturday, November 5th match will happen at 8pm at Ocean Bank Field.
Indy 11, winners of the 2016 Spring season, are the only ones with a locked in date and time, hosting an afternoon match at 3pm on Saturday, November 5th at Carroll Stadium. They await the outcome of the Combined table race to determine who their opponent will be, though it appears likely that they may end up as the #2 seed, playing the #3 seed.
The winner of the Combined table will hold the rights to host the semifinal against the #4 seed and, should they win that match, the NASL Championship Final.
With only 3 or 4 matches remaining per side, it appears promising that fans will be treated to an exciting race to the finish line.
