A move that has been hinted at for several days, TICC can independently confirm, via multiple sources, that Inaria will be the kit supplier of the New York Cosmos in 2017.
The move comes after a reportedly soured relationship with Baltimore apparel company Under Armour. Inaria will be the third kit supplier for the club since its reboot. The length of the deal is unclear at this point in time.

After a long-rumored souring of the pot between the Cosmos and UA, the first real sign of a move came from photos of the Cosmos arrival in the Dominican Republic. David Ochieng was seen carrying a Cosmos-branded Inaria duffle bag. Throughout the remainder of the trip, both Head Coach Gio Savarese and players alike were seen in photos sporting Inaria training tops, even with the Cosmos wearing complete Under Armour gear for all three matches.

On Monday evening, at a community event in Coney Island, the Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce gifted the club a “Brooklyn Cosmos” branded kit on none other than an Inaria top. The kit, while not currently expected to be used in any matches, had the laces template used by the Fort Lauderdale Strikers during their 2016 preseason matches.
Inaria also currently sponsors fellow NASL sides FC Edmonton and the San Francisco Deltas.
