With the penultimate games of the NASL season being played this weekend, the list of clubs fighting to stay in postseason contention could narrow considerably tonight, and it all hinges on the results of a pair of games.

The Indy Eleven won the 2016 NASL Spring Season Saturday, defeating the Carolina RailHawks by a score of 4-1 Satuday at Michael M. Carrol Stadium. This result put Indy level on points, goal differential, and goals scored, but gave them the edge on head-to-head match ups. The heart wrenching 2-1 loss the Cosmos suffered in the Midwest in April proved to be the one that sealed their spring season fate as the title decision was forced to the third tie-breaker.
