October 10, 1981 - In a match against Valur FC in Reykjavic Iceland, Giorgio Chingalla scored three goals, Vladislav Bogicevic scored two, and Julio Cesar Romero got the last one as the Cosmos went to 1-1-1 on their tour. Romero had three assists to go with his goal. They played before a crowd of 10,500 and in 30 degree weather with 20 mph winds.
As with anything I write for the Borough Boys, if you have anything to add, please feel free to add anything to heighten the knowledge of the game. The more we talk about the Cosmos the more the world will know, and the more the club will be brought into the next century.
