The Cosmos focused on Professional league?

Things might have been quiet this past year but The Borough Boys have continued to work towards bringing a professional team to New York City. Recently we had a meeting with a group that represents the New York Cosmos and we have on good measure to let all our members and supporters know that this group plans a considerable push to bring the New York Cosmos back.

With this meeting we also are taking the time to announce that The Borough Boys will be starting a "Bring Back the Cosmos" campaign and will rally around the idea of not only bringing a professional soccer team to New York City, which we continue to do, but to make that team the New York Cosmos.

This has the potential to be a very exciting year for Borough Boys and Borough Girls and as a group, we do continue to work with all parties involved to help this in any way that we can. When we find out more details, we will pass along to our members and have events to show your support for our cause.

There are a few things we know, a few things we don’t know and a few things we can’t go public with yet.  But the Borough Boys think this group is the best and most serious group to get this done.  That’s why we are rallying around this particular effort, and we think it’s vitally important for soccer fans to have a unified voice on pro soccer in NYC.
